  Brew your own Hemp Beer  
     
 

 

  You require :

  •  6 LBS Amber Liquid Malt Extract

  •  1 LBS Amber Dry Malt Extract

  •  1 LB Crystal 75L 

  •  ½ LB Cara-Pils

  •  1 Oz Shelled Hemp Seeds or Hemp Seed Cake

  •  0.6 Oz Cascade (60 MIN) Boiling Hops

  •  0.5 Oz Czech Saaz (2 Min) Finishing Hops

  •  Irish Moss 1/2 Table Spoon Last 15 MIN

  •  Ale Yeast

  •  Recommended White Labs Yeast: WLP001 California Ale Yeast

 

Mix all the above ingredients in a big pot then bring to a BOIL for at least 60 MIN.

 

In the last 15 minutes (or after 45 minutes boiling) add the Irish Moss (½ tsp). 

TARGETS:

- OG: 1.057

- TG: 1.016

- ABV: 5.4%

- IBU’S: 18.2

- SRM: 17
